A rare opportunity to see the Karen Hilltribes (Long Neck People). These are the infamous long neck women who wears heavy brass necklaces around their neck at very young age. The more brass necklaces around the neck signifies a women of great beauty. Believe to have migrated from far North of Burma, possibly Tibet. Their weaving skills are renowned and produces beautiful colorful garments. The drive stop by the Lisu Hilltribe village. This tribe are deemed to be the most elaborate dresser. During festive occasions the women folks are endowned with massive amount of jewelleries.
Lunch stop is at Tha Ton. A strategic landing point between Burma and Thailand.
It continues on to Phatai with a visit to the Lahu Hilltribe Village where visitor will embark on the Kok River cruise. The trip is pulsating as the river is filled with rocks and small rapids. It offers a picturesques scenery of natural river banks and scattered river lives. Boat cruise ends at Pong Nam Lon – Hot Springs – where a car will transfer back to hotel.
